My family and I weren’t wanting to go out on New Years Eve, we ordered a curbside order of 4 meals around 6 pm from Longhorn. My partner went to pick up our food, made the 25 minute drive home and we unloaded all the food. Then realized we were missing a main dish item. We hopped back in the car and were heading back as I gave the restaurant a call. After talking to a very kind hostess, I spoke with Manager Charlie. Charlie was beyond helpful in correcting the mistake and made the trip back worth it! As a former server at a Longhorn, even I was impressed by the way he made sure that our meal was made perfect, and was kind enough to give us a free dessert for the mistake. Long story short, people are human. Mistakes can be made. (Also remember to make sure you have all your items before making a 25 minute drive home ;)) You should have seen that parking lot with how busy they were!… but they still made time to be kind and correct a mistake. The food is always great, but the service deserves an extra star for their help!

My spouse and I had lunch here today. The food was delicious but more importantly, the customer service from Sean was exemplary. He was very attentive, professional, and personable. We also had the pleasure of being checked on by the manager, Heather, who was just as professional, personable, and attentive. They both made our dining experience unforgettable. We will be visiting this Longhorn location at The Tánger Legends pretty frequently. -Bobbie & Lisette.

LongHorn Steakhouse in Kansas City delivers exactly what you hope for from a classic American steakhouse: hearty portions, consistently well‑prepared dishes, and warm, attentive service that makes the experience feel easy and enjoyable. The star of the menu is, of course, the steak — cooked with precision, well‑seasoned, and served just the way you ask for it. The Renegade Sirloin and the Flo’s Filet are reliable favorites, tender and flavorful without being overdone. Sides are generous and genuinely good, from the perfectly baked potatoes to the fresh salads and the signature honey‑wheat bread that arrives warm at the table. Service is friendly and efficient, even during busy hours. Staff members check in at the right moments, offer helpful suggestions, and keep the pace comfortable without rushing you. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, with the Western‑themed décor adding a bit of character without feeling kitschy. Whether you’re stopping in for a casual dinner, celebrating something special, or just craving a well‑cooked steak, LongHorn Steakhouse in Kansas City is a dependable choice that delivers quality, comfort, and great value.

My meal was wonderful. I had the crusted parmesan chicken with double mash. Our serve was pretty good. We went in kind of towards closing. Maybe a hour before. The host was a bit playful. Going back and forth on who would seat us. Our server was nice but we did have to stop her to ask for refills or when we needed something. We also order grilled chicken strips and they were not so good. They were a but dry. We ended up ordering an additional order of regular chicken strips to go. Overall no big complaints and I would definitely visit again if I am in the area. The atmosphere was cool and the prices were fine.

Had the lemon garlic chicken and it was delicious! Wife enjoyed her food as well. Server disappeared for almost 20 minutes, not on the floor, assume she was doing closing duties as we were there late, but couldn't get butter for my potato until the very end of our meal.

Went to Longhorn at Legends while in town for a business trip. It was Saturday night & the place was packed. We waited about 20 minutes for a table, but it was certainly worth it. Elizabeth greeted us and offered recommendations for an appetizer. We got a spicy shrimp dish and she was spot-on... it was really good. We each got steaks - Flo's Filet for me. It was cooked perfectly (medium) and seasoned just right. My coworker got the ribeye & really enjoyed it. Elizabeth convinced us to share a dessert... the cheesecake, which was also really good. The food itself was worthy of 5-stars, but I have to tell you that Elizabeth made the experience exceptional. She brought a spunky yet professional attitude and I watched as she interacted with other tables - genuinely service oriented. I hope the bosses see this & give kudos where due... the kitchen staff did a great job on our food and Elizabeth made the experience memorable (she has a mean pen collection!)

There was quite a crowd when I arrived but I was put on the wait list and seated shortly after. I wish I could remember my server’s name because she was so lovely. Food was fast and delicious!!

My rating says it all. I have never had a bad experience at Longhorn. I always order the Outlaw Ribeye and it never disappoints. It is cooked to perfection and big enough to share. The sides are great, I usually order the baked sweet potato and a side salad. I visited The Legends location for my birthday and Allison was amazing. She was very attentive and the service was quick. She even did a special desert plate to celebrate my special day. I'll be back, it doesn't take a special occasion for me to go to Longhorn.
